Joana Sofia is our Portugal Adventure Travel Specialist and when she isn’t crafting adventure itineraries, she’s conquering Portugal’s most epic mountain trails or swapping hiking trainers for fins and goggles for some outdoor swimming.

Joana’s happy place is surrounded by water, and she has a serious passion for islands, believing there’s nothing better than the thrill of a volcanic hike followed by a plunge into the ocean. After three years of studying in London, Joana returned to Portugal with a deep commitment to making travel as eco-conscious as it is exciting.
