Alex Pazderski The Natural Adventure

Alex Pazderski

Co-founder

Alex leads the strategic management side of the business, overseeing (almost) everything. An international business graduate, after some – successful but boring – years working in international finance, in London and Sofia, Alex decided to change direction and focus solely on growing The Natural Adventure. Alex still splits his time between the two capitals, but now it’s to manage The Natural Adventure teams in both the UK and Bulgaria.

Alex is a keen walker and outdoor enthusiast and has hiked many of the routes  we offer, particularly in the Balkan countries often as part of a rigorous route testing programme before launching a new itinerary.

Alex is also an acclaimed expedition kayaker. He has paddled over 20,000km on Europe’s rivers and seas. In 2011 he made a record-breaking kayaking trip on the Danube, paddling in winter conditions from Vidin to Silistra (almost the entire Bulgarian section of the Danube, more than 400km) in just four days. This trip typically takes 12 days if you are an experienced kayaker. The challenge was aimed at raising awareness of four endangered bird species in Bulgaria living along the Danube.
