Coming out of an olive grove, you can optionally walk the extra 1 km (one way) to Angelokastro for a worthwhile visit (calculate at least one additional hour). The next picturesque village you come through is Krini, and then you descend on tracks with breathtaking views to the beach at Agios Georgios.

You have the option to climb to the highest summit of Corfu (908 m above sea level) where you can visit the Monastery of Pantokrator. Then your way takes you around the mountain with breath-taking views of the island. Descending on a narrow footpath, you reach the semi-abandoned village of Old Perithia, now a cultural heritage site. From this village, you will continue your way downhill, through forests and the calm villages of Krinias and Portes, to end up at the northernmost coast of the island at Almiros Beach. From here, you continue along the coast to reach the end of the Corfu trail at Agios Spiridon Beach. Then take a taxi back to Kalami (20-30 Euro per car, not included).
