From here, an optional short detour along the Roman Cycle Trail (Römerweg) leads to Carnuntum, one of Austria’s most significant archaeological sites. Other ecclesiastical sights include Prímási Palota or archbishops’ palace and the Keresztény Múzeum, home to a large collection of religious paintings and sculptures.
