There is a popular myth that In Washington DC the Slovakian and Slovenian embassies meet once a month to exchange wrongly addressed mail. To add to the confusion, the Slovaks call their country Slovensko 🙂 Besides their similar names and flags, both countries have beautiful mountains where we have been organising some incredible self guided walking and cycling holidays.
And from today they have one more thing in common: they've been both added to England's so called 'air bridges' list and now you can visit them without having to self-isolate upon your return.

And amazingly, the air bridge also works as a train bridge, so you can visit both countries without wrecking the climate for everyone else.

Same for Austria and Australia.
Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia ... great places to visit. We have been there a few years ago. Recommended.
Got both flags at home.
Bratislava is a great place to visit great food and beer and friendly people.
Czech Republic. Is now known officially as Chechia ...,.......
Having lived for 2 years in Slovenia I can recommend visiting that naturally beautiful country. Lovely walks, culture, food and drink. A real shame in my view that we are no longer their EU partner but that’s progress supposedly.
Spent a very enjoyable long weekend in Slovakia in 2017. Took part in a mountain running race from Pruské, up on the trails on Vršatske (not sure if I have that correct?) great fun, friendly people, cheap food and drink. I would recommend a visit. 😎👍
Both are beautiful countries, well worth a visit.
