All our itineraries are unique, and we put a lot of effort into tailoring them to our customers’ needs, so our booking process works as follows:
1. Booking request and deposit
Select the ‘BOOK NOW‘ button on your desired holiday page to open the secure booking form. At Step 4, you will have the option to pay either a fully refundable* deposit (£100 per person or the equivalent in other currencies) or the full balance (if there are less than 35 days to the holiday start date). See details on payment options here. As soon as we receive your deposit, we will assign your booking a ‘Provisional’ status.
*In the unlikely event that there is no availability for your desired dates, you will have the option to have your deposit immediately refunded in full or book alternative dates. In some cases, we can offer a slightly modified itinerary to match hotel availability for your preferred dates – you again will have the option to either have an unconditional full refund or book the proposed modified itinerary.
2. Booking confirmation
As soon as we confirm availability with hotels and transport providers (within five working days, usually much faster), we will send you a booking confirmation email.
You should not make any non-refundable flight arrangements before we have explicitly confirmed your booking.
3. Balance payment
Not later than 35 days before the trip start date, you will need to pay the full balance (we will email you a reminder one week in advance and again on the due date, together with a payment link).
4. Receive the holiday info pack
Subject to receipt of the balance payment, we will send you the electronic pre-departure information pack. As we constantly keep our route notes up to date, the information pack is typically emailed 2 to 4 weeks before the holiday start date. Note that on some itineraries, we may hand part or all of the documentation to you on your arrival (joining instructions and hotel lists are always emailed in advance); on other itineraries, we provide only electronic materials, and you can print them out yourselves before your departure.
5. Enjoy your holiday and provide feedback
While on holiday, you will be able to contact our 24/7 helpline should you need assistance – and we have local offices/partners in all regions where we operate. Once finished, we will appreciate it if you inform us how your holiday went and if you have any recommendations to improve it.
