Bring some future joy into your life… Make plans even if you have to change them later!
Note: the information on this page relates only to new bookings made after July 9th 2020. If you have already booked a trip with us, please follow our updates here.
We have always operated our holidays in a responsible way and the welfare and safety of our customers is the first priority of everyone at The Natural Adventure Company.
The Natural Adventure Company has received the World Travel and Tourism Council’s (WTTC) Safe Travels stamp, which provides travellers with the assurance that we have adopted health and hygiene global standardised protocols for tour operators – so you can experience Safe Travels.
These are in line with recommendations from the World Health Organization. Before we organise a trip in any destination, our itinerary will undergo a comprehensive risk assessment and audit, while our local partners will complete COVID-19 health and safety training.
Total Flexibility: 10% Deposits and Two Free Date Changes
In order to allow you to start planning ahead for your dream adventure holiday and to celebrate the news that Europe has begun reopening its borders, most of our walking and cycling adventure holidays now offer free date change*. To give you even more flexibility, you are entitled to 2 free date changes, provided that they are requested 30 or more days before departure.
We have also temporarily (for bookings made before July 15th 2020) reduced the deposits for most tours to 10% of the total tour value (instead of the standard 20%). This does not apply to our Bike & Boat tours and selected other tours, where we need to pre-pay the boats.
*In case the tour booked has seasonal pricing or there are exchange rate fluctuations, the price of the holiday might be different depending on the new date chosen – you will have to pay the difference if the price is higher or we will refund you if it is lower.
Cancel for Any Reason
Although you can book risk-free with our relaxed booking conditions, for additional peace of mind we are also offering CFAR (‘Cancel for Any Reason’) coverage to our customers. With CFAR, it doesn’t matter why you have to cancel your trip. Regardless the reason, if you are outside 30 days before your start date, you can cancel, no questions asked, and we will refund all moneys paid by you (instead of moving them to a new date or keeping them as a travel credit) less the cost of the cover itself and any booking change fees already charged. Тhe CFAR coverage is complementary and covers customer cancellations only, you still must buy a standard travel insurance policy.

We pride ourselves on the happiness of our customers (and it’s our customer reviews that confirm it), and we have a policy designed to hold us accountable to that. So if you feel let down by the service you received, please contact us. We will reach all parties involved to validate the problems and see if and where things went wrong. If the problem was within the control of either ourselves or our local providers, we will offer you a refund that’s proportional to the scale of the problem. To help us make this policy work fairly and properly for everyone, it is of paramount importance that:
- If something is not as expected or you need assistance, please first contact our local office/representative at the coordinates provided in your pre-departure info pack. They are usually available 24/7 and ready to assist you and immediately fix the problem.
- If you have an issue with an accommodation or transport provider (e.g. you are not given the type of room you booked), the best approach would be first to try to liaise directly with them. If they are not cooperating, please call our local office/representative. In any case, it is of paramount importance that you raise the issue at the moment; it is much harder or sometimes impossible to remedy such problems post factum.
