Isle of Skye walking tours

Isle of Skye

The Isle of Skye is the largest island of the Inner Hebrides archipelago and, in many ways, it mirrors the mainland, with an array of lochs, rugged peninsulas and valleys wrapped around the foothills of its mountainous interior. Hiking on the Isle of Skye is iconic really, with the Skye Trail covering most of the island’s length, and its finest land and seascapes.

On our self-guided walking holidays you get to explore the Black and Red Cuillin, Trotternish Ridge and Loch Coruisk and, if you haven’t trekked these yet, you haven’t taken the real high roads through Scotland. We have more gentle hiking on the Isle of Skye too, dipping in and out of the main coast to coast hiking route, the most famous stop being the Old Man of Storr rocky pinnacle. Walking on Skye is wild, wonderful and with no shortage of whisky either.
