Great Glen Way walking tours

Great Glen Way The Natural Adventure 12

The Great Glen Way is one of Scotland’s finest landscapes for lochs, with the waters of Loch Lochy, Loch Linnhe, Loch Oich and Loch Ness lapping alongside you as you hike or cycle the 118km trail. It takes you between Fort William in the west to Inverness in the east, following the natural route of the Great Glen Valley. In addition to lochs, you also have a fair few locks, as this route also takes you along the Caledonian Canal, a bit of engineering brilliance that links lochs with lochs using canal technology. It’s one colossal canal, and a superb way to explore Scotland.
