Easy walking holidays

Easy walking holidays The Natural Adventure 2

We know that the word ‘easy’ is subjective and that, for some people, hitting the hills as the sun rises is a norm. However, let’s think of our easy walking holidays more like ‘taking it easy’ trips, where you may still have a few challenges along the way, but for fewer hours and usually less mileage too. In some cases, the only challenge is choosing which beach to stop at next.

How do we define easy walking holidays?

In terms of our difficulty grades, easy means around 12km (sometimes with an optional extra outing) of walking a day and with few gradients. In general, this means walking between 3-5h per day. There may also be rest days built into easy walking holiday itineraries.

No previous hiking experience is required and they are suitable for walking holiday newbies and multi-generational groups. Examples of easy walking holidays include Lake Garda or Denmark’s lakes, Normandy or Tuscany, where there are walks leading to idyllic winding down spots. Or hotels where you can wake up and think, where will this wonderful world take us today? Trust us, they’re easy. You just have to put one foot in front of the other.
